We look forward to hearing from you!

We're a pair of midwestern "empty-nesters" who hate shoveling snow!

We purchased and designed "Casa Verrado" for our future retirement to sunny Phoenix, Arizona. We loved the small-town charm of the Verrado community and the traditional Spanish architecture of this particular homesite. Retirement has always been a milestone we've looked forward to, but after purchasing and decorating "Casa Verrado," we're more excited than ever!

In the meantime, we’re making our home available to snowbirds, spring-training baseball players, and golf aficionados for stays during the late winter/early spring season between Christmas and Easter.

If you need accommodations in the Phoenix area during these winter and spring months, we'd love to hear from you! You can email us at 2010@casaverrado.com.

A ray of sunshine

The greater Phoenix area receives an average of 334 days of sunshine per year.

Unique terrain

The steep incline of the White Tank Mountains was so unique, Caterpillar used it as its bulldozer “proving grounds.” The path carved out in the mountainside is visible at a distance and is known as “The Scar.” It is a popular climb for ambitious hikers.
